4 fasting health workers hospitalised

PONDICHERRY, MARCH 2. Four workers of the Department of Health, who were part of a batch of part- time staff who have been observing fast since Monday in support of their demands, were rushed to the hospital today as their health condition deteriorated.

The workers who launched the 90-hour long fast outside the Government General Hospital premises on Monday to urge the authorities to confirm the part-time workers as Sanitary Health workers.
