CHITTOOR, MARCH 2. An awareness programme on the use of electronic voting machines (EVMs) will be held in the district from Wednesday for 15 days. In each Assembly constituency a team of 10 officials will tour the villages and explain to the voters the pattern of casting their franchise on the EVM. There are 3,200 EVMs for 2,811 polling centres in the district. Leaders of the political parties and people's representatives will be involved in the exercise.
