BELLARY, MARCH 2. Ratan Singh, former Congress MLA, will join the Janata Dal (Secular) with his supporters at a district-level convention of the party workers in front of the Town Reading room on Wednesday. H.D. Deve Gowda, former Prime Minister and President of the Janata Dal (S), is scheduled to inaugurate the convention, which is the third meeting of the party being organised in the district in the past four months. H. Siddaramaiah, President of the party State unit, will preside over the function. C.M. Ibrahim, former Union Minister, B.R. Patil, P.G.R. Sindhia, D. Manjunath, M.P. Prakash, N.M. Nabi, H.C. Mahadevappa, and H. Ekantaiah are among the prominent leaders who will attend the convention.
