Nizamabad
By Our Staff Reporter
NIZAMABAD, MARCH 2. The sale of application forms for the Assembly and Parliamentary seats at the Congress party office here saw a low turnout today as the hopefuls decided against purchasing or submitting forms considering the day to be inauspicious. The party office, which was thronged by ticket aspirants yesterday, was bereft of any activity on the second day. Most of today's applicants were newcomers. The DCC president, S. Gangaram, and the general secretary, P. Rajeswar Reddy, received the applications. Mr. Reddy said four applications were received for the Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat. No forms were received for the Kamareddy, Dichpalli and Balkonda segments. The Yellareddy segment saw husband and wife duo of Ch. Malka Reddy and Ch. Indira applying for the ticket.
