`Ram temple still on BJP agenda'
By Our Special Correspondent
CHENNAI,
MARCH 3.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad president, Ashok Singhal, said today that the issue of constructing the Ram temple in Ayodhya was still on the Bharatiya Janata Party's agenda.
Mr. Singhal, who arrived here today from Mumbai on his way to Kumbakonam to participate in the Mahamaham festival, said he would soon initiate talks with the National Democratic Alliance partners about the significance of building the temple. Since the matter was in the court, he did not want to discuss it further.
He said the BJP-All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam alliance in Tamil Nadu was on the expected lines.
