Congress ticket aspirants throng party office

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 3. There was hectic activity at the district Congress office on Wednesday with ticket aspirants thronging it to submit their applications.

Today being the last date for submitting their application forms, the party leaders came in large numbers along with their supporters in massive processions and submitted their application forms. A total of 183 application forms were sold during the three days. Out of which 159 application forms were submitted for the 13 Assembly seats and 12 forms for the two Lok Sabha seats. Incidentally, the APCC president, D Srinivas had also submitted his application form to the Nizamabad DCC president, Ganga Ram, in Karimnagar when the both visited the town to inspect the venue for the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi's meeting. Prominent leaders who submitted the application forms include, the DCC president, D. Sridhar, T. Jeevan Reddy, the former legislator, K. Sai Reddy, and the APCC media cell coordinator, Ponnam Prabhakar.
