INL chief to contest Tirupattur LS seat

CHENNAI, MARCH 4. The Indian National League president, Ibrahim Sulaiman Sait, will contest the Tirupattur Lok Sabha seat.

An INL release said the constituents of the Peoples' Alliance and many in the Muslim community wanted Mr. Sait to contest the seat. The INL will release its list of candidates on March 10. The party will contest Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Central and North Chennai, Mayiladuturai, Cuddalore, Tiruchi, Pudukottai, Vellore and Tirupattur.
