`CPI(M) trying to avoid division of anti-BJP votes'
BHUBANESWAR,
MARCH 4.
The CPI(M) today said that it was working towards avoiding or minimising division of anti-BJP votes in the Lok Sabha elections.
``We have worked out our electoral line and our primary aim is to defeat the BJP-led alliance,'' the CPI(M) politburo member, Prakash Karat, told presspersons here.
The aim was to ensure the formation of a secular Government at the Centre and the strategy had been finalised in different States, he said. The party will field candidates in 70 Lok Sabha seats, including one in Orissa. PTI
