Roja to introduce `suitable' candidates to TDP

NELLORE, MARCH 4. Actress Roja has said that she will introduce `good and deserving persons' to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) high command for consideration as candidates for the coming elections.

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, Ms. Roja claimed that the TDP Government had done a lot for the overall development of the State, and as such it was imperative that deserving candidates got a chance to continue the good work.

Asked it she had identified any `suitable' candidates, Ms. Roja, claimed that she was in the process and would intimate the same to the party leaders. About her chances of contesting the polls, Ms. Roja said she preferred to contest from Chittoor district.
