MADURAI, MARCH 4. The city today registered a maximum temperature of 35.5 degree Celsius and a minimum of 22.8 degree Celsius.
Water level
Commits suicide
According to the police, M. Chandran (24) of Iyyanarpuram, working as a supervisor in the Pappapatti Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) outlet, was suspended on charges of certain irregularities last week. When repeated efforts to get the suspension proved futile, Chandran committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling of his house last night. The Uthapppanaickanur police have registered a case.
