Orissa CEO replaced
BHUBANESWAR,
MARCH 5.
Ahead of the two phase simultaneous Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Orissa, the Chief Electoral Officer, Livinus Kindo, has been replaced by the Special Relief Commissioner and Culture secretary, R.Balakrishnan, in a bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the Government, official sources said today.
Mr. Kindo had been on leave for some time, the sources said, adding that N. Sanyal, Managing Director of the Orissa State Disaster Mitigation Authority, has been entrusted with the responsibilities of the Special Relief Commissioner in addition to his own. .— PTI
