HASSAN, MARCH 5. A.K. Subbaiah, Janata Dal (Secular) leader, has criticised the BJP for "imposing" elections on the people. Addressing a convention of party workers at Sakleshpur on Thursday, he alleged that the BJP had deceived the people by going in for snap polls. He accused the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance Government at the Centre and the State Government of being "anti-people" and "anti-farmer." He accused the State Government of being "Bangalore centric" in the matter of development. The Rajya Sabha member, H.K. Javare Gowda, said that with each passing day the Congress was becoming weaker. Criticising those who had defected from the party, the district unit president of the party, Patel Shivaram, said the success of the party depended on the loyalty of workers.
