The demands of the association included regularisation of the services of attenders, daily-wage workers and drivers, promotion for sub-staff and part-time sweepers, appointment on compassionate grounds, and introduction of new welfare schemes. The introduction of voluntary retirement scheme and stoppage of recruitment had affected the growth of banks, he claimed. Mr. Poonja said the Bharatiya Janata Party leader, D.H.
