ANANTAPUR, MARCH 6. The district unit of the Communist Party of India (CPI) has alleged that the BJP's true colours were exposed with the Sangh parivar agreeing to campaign for the party and inclusion of contentious and communal issues in the party agenda. Talking to newspersons here today the district secretary of the party, M.V. Ramana, and the State secretariat member, K. Ramakrishna, alleged that the yesterday's meeting between the BJP and Sangh parivar leaders and the decision of the latter to play a crucial role in the coming elections had given clear indications of inciting communal passions in the country during the coming elections. By agreeing to include in its agenda the issues like temple at Ayodhya, common civil code, Article 370 and others the BJP had exposed its true colours, they said. The party's `hidden agenda' stands exposed, the CPI claimed. The BJP had been deceiving people so far by claiming that it would contest only on the NDA agenda. If India was shining enough as was being claimed by the NDA Government and if there was enough development, there was no need for BJP to turn to communal issues. It could well seek votes on development. However, it was turning to its hidden agenda as there was no such development which was being claimed. They appealed to the people to defeat the BJP and its allies.
