KOCHI, MARCH 6. Through proper religious education and inculcation of discipline in children, women can help build a harmonious society, said former judge of the Kerala High Court, D. Sreedevi. She was speaking at a seminar organised on Saturday by the women's wing of Jamat-e-Islami at the Town Hall. Ms. Sreedevi also called for a change of attitude of parents towards girl child. O. A. Sulaikha, the district president of the women's wing of the Jamat-e-Islami, Zeenath Banu, district secretary, T. D. Lakshmi, advocate, and Lali Vincent, councillor in the Kochi Corporation, were among those who spoke at the seminar.
