BJP's agenda clear: IUML leader

KOZHIKODE MARCH 6. The Indian Union Muslim League's all-India general secretary, E. Ahmed, today asked the allies of the BJP in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to do some sincere soul-searching since "the BJP's agenda which has remained hidden till recently has now come out in the open."
In a statement, Mr. Ahmed, who is contesting the Ponnani Lok Sabha constituency, as the UDF candidate, asked the allies to explain if they too subscribed to the BJP's communal agenda.
"If they continue to support the BJP, they are degrading themselves to the level of BJP's foot soldiers. Muslims who joined the BJP recently are also self-seekers. It is high time these groups and individuals explained their stand, especially since the BJP is trying to drive a wedge between different communities to create communal conflicts'', Mr. Ahmed added.
