Child run over

PATHANAMTHITTA, MARCH 6. A four-year-old boy was fatally run over by a lorry at Chengaroorchira near Mallappally today.

According to the police, the child, Rupak, son of Rajkumar, of Kallupalam Sankarambhagom in Chengaroor was knocked down and run over by the lorry while he was trying to cross the road along with his sister, Rakhi.

The body has been sent for post-mortem. The Mallappally police registered a case in connection with the incident.
