Village officer caught accepting bribe

PATHANAMTHITTA, MARCH 6. A raiding party of the Police Vigilance here today caught the village officer at Konni, Raju K.Abraham, and the village man, Sainulabdeen, while taking bribe from one T.V.Saseendran of Thonikkadavu at the village office this forenoon.

According to the police, the Vigilance squad had laid the trap following a complaint from Mr. Saseendran that the village officer and village man had sought Rs.500 for issuing a possession certificate to him the other day.
