KOLLAM, MARCH. 6. The Kollam diocese Women's Commission unit of the Kerala Catholic Bishops' Council will be inaugurated by the Kollam Bishop, Stanley Roman, at a function to be held at the John De Britto community hall here on March 8. Addressing a press conference here today the Commission secretary of the diocese unit, Jane Ancil, said that women empowerment through the coordination of the women's unit under the diocese would be the main thrust of the commission's activities. The commission would also complement and cooperate in the activities and adalats of the State Women's Commission. Stress would be given to study and solve the various family problems especially those cases that move towards a divorce. The commission would highlight the need for maintaining healthy family ties. The commission members, Rosamma Cabot and Mable Felix also attended the press conference.
