CHENNAI, MARCH 6. The chief editor of Malayala Manorama, K.M. Mathew, released a compact disc of the `Holy Qurbana' (liturgical services) in English at a function here today. Mr. Mathew was participating in `Festival of Church Music,' a programme organised by the Madras Orthodox Music Society and St. Thomas Cathedral Choir in memory of his brother and founder of MRF, late K.M. Mammen Mapillai. Releasing the CD, he said it was the desire of his late brother to bring out an English version of the Holy Qurbana for the benefit of people who are born and brought up outside their home State (Kerala). Yakob Mar Irenaios, Bishop, Madras Diocese, presided over the function. This was followed by a music programme wherein choirs from various parts of the city took part.
