Mammoth indeed

Sir, — The ensuing general elections will indeed be a mammoth exercise, as pointed out in the Insight (March 7). The Model Code of Conduct notwithstanding, if misuse of official machinery is to be curbed, no political party should be allowed to remain in power at least for a three-month period prior to the elections.
