Right to reject

Sir, — This is in response to the Chief Election Commissioner's proposal to give voters the right to reject all the candidates in a constituency by indicating their preference for `none of the above'. I hope the proposal gathers momentum and snowballs into a popular movement that will make our elections reflect the true popular mood.
