Walk-in interview

MADURAI, MARCH 7 . A walk-in interview will be conducted at the Collectorate here on March 10, for members of the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities, for a six-month training course in food and beverage service, house keeping and front office operation to be held at the V.J.P. Industrial School of Hotel Management, Catering Technology, Siruganur, Tiruchi, from March 15.

The criteria are the candidate's annual family income should not exceed Rs.50,000, they should not be more than 25 years as on October 1, 2003, and should have completed Plus Two.

Those appearing for the interview should bring the original and photocopies of Plus Two mark list, and the age, community and income certificates issued by an authority in the rank of a Tahsildar of the Revenue Department. They should also submit a self-addressed envelope.

The interview would be held from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., on a first-come first-served basis.

All the participants would be given a subsidy of 90 per cent on the training course fee, according to an official release.
