Polls: BCs seek 50 per cent seats

VIJAYAWADA, MARCH 8. The Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Association president, R. Krishnaiah, has demanded that political parties allot 50 per cent seats to the BC candidates in the forthcoming elections to the State Assembly and Lok Sabha.

Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, he said the association would stage dharnas if parties failed to give due representation to BCs.
