PERAMBALUR, MARCH 8 . Students should cultivate the habit of reading to face the public service examinations, the Collector, S. Natarajan, said. He was speaking after inaugurating a seminar on `Career guidance', sponsored by the District Employment Exchange at the Thanthai Hans Roever College here recently. The Collector said the Career Guidance Cell at the District Employment Exchange here offered a special coaching to those who appeared for these examinations, and the students should make use of the cell. The Collector said students should develop a flair for updating their knowledge of national and international events, and an aptitude for group discussions and analysis of current issues. This would help them improve their performance in the competitive examinations.
