Fight evils in society, women told

HYDERABAD, MARCH 8. The Blue Cross director, Amala Akkineni, on Monday called upon women employees and students of B.R Ambedkar Open University to fight the evils plaguing society.

Addressing the university's female fraternity during a function organised by BRAOU's Women Development and Extension Centre at Jubilee Hills here on Monday on the occasion of International Women's Day, Ms. Akkineni said women organisations should come forward to create awareness among women on their rights and duties.

The university Rector, P. Ramaiah, the WDEC in-charge, E. Sudha Rani, and other spoke, according to a press release.
