CEC coming on two-day visit

HYDERABAD,
MARCH 8.
The Chief Election Commissioner, T. S. Krishna Murthy, and the two Commissioners are coming here on Thursday on a two-day visit. They will review the arrangements for the elections and give necessary guidance to the State authorities and political parties.
They will fly in from Bhubaneswar and meet leaders of recognised political parties at Raj Bhavan on Thursday. The Chief Electoral Officer, M. Narayana Rao, said the MIM and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi do not figure in the list of recognised parties.
The EC members would have an interactive in-camera session with district Collectors, SPs and DIGs at Jubilee Hall. Mr. Krishna Murthy and his colleagues would meet the Chief Secretary, Mohan Kanda, the DGP, S. R. Sukumara, on Friday before leaving for Delhi.
