NEW DELHI, MARCH 8. The Test Identification Parade of the young man who allegedly criminally assaulted a 19-year-old Fiji national of Indian origin this past Saturday would be carried out on Tuesday. He was sent to a 14-day judicial custody today. The accused, Abhinav Kochar, was arrested from his Rohini residence on Sunday after the police found out that he was the one who offered lift to the victim outside Hotel Hyatt in his Maruti car and later criminally assaulted her before dumping her near Deer Park in South-West Delhi. The police said they have clinching evidence against him. The victim is pursuing a course from a Delhi medical college. On Saturday around 1-30 a.m., she was spotted by a Police Control Room patrol staff near the Deer Park, after which she was taken to Sarojini Nagar police station. Her medical examination had confirmed that she had been criminally assaulted. The police said further investigations into the matter are on and they are awaiting a report on the clothes worn by the accused when he criminally assaulted the victim.
