PW threat: another TD leader quits

KHAMMAM, MARCH 11. The Telugu Desam mandal committee president, Challuri Yellaiah of Venkatapuram, resigned on Thursday. His resignation came in the wake of increasing threat by the People's War to TDP activists in the agency areas of Khammam district. About 30 elected representatives and leaders of the Telugu Desam Party had quit so far in tribal pockets of the district.
