Clear sky forecast

The sky will be mainly clear on Saturday, and the maximum and minimum temperatures will be 33 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius respectively.

On Friday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 33.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 18.2 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 15 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 16.6 degrees Celsius.

The relative humidity was 18 per cent.

Planetarium

The sky theatre shows at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in the city will remain suspended for annual maintenance from March 15 to 23. It will re-open on March 24, according to an official press release.

Workshop

The BNM Institute of Technology in association with the Indian Institute of Information Technology will conduct a national workshop on "Technology trends in mobile computing and communications' on April 10 at the J.N. Tata Auditorium, IISc.

Thyroid test

The Mayor, P.R. Ramesh, will inaugurate the Central Thyroid Society at the Central Lab on Richmond Circle on March 14 at 11 a.m.

The first 500 registered members will get a free thyroid profile test (T3, T4 and TSH).

Registration for membership will open at 8.30 a.m. on that day and enrolment will be kept open throughout the year.

Eye camp

The Rotary Eye Hospital in Rajajinagar will conduct a free eye screening camp on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
