THANJAVUR, MARCH 13 . A. Panneerselvam, Special Secretary, School Education department, today lauded the services of the Sri AVVM Pushpam College at Poondi near here. He was delivering the College Day address. Dr. Panneerselvam said many students in rural areas had their education in the college and rose to higher levels. He himself was an alumnus of the college. The college had grown leaps and bounds, with the introduction of various subjects and creation of infrastructure, he said. He distributed prizes and certificates to students. The Correspondent, K. Thulasiah Vandayar, advised students to cultivate `guru bhakthi'. The Principal, T.K. Krishnamurthy, presented the annual report.
