THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 13. The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) is organising week-long training camps for its employees from April 23. A TDB press release here today said the camps were being organised for sub-group officers, lower division clerks, assistant engineers and Grade I overseers. Each batch would have two sub-group officers and one lower division clerk from one group and seven persons from the head quarters. The training camp would be conducted at the Sri Chitra Hindumatha Granthasala here. The technical camp for engineers and overseers will be held at the Peruvanam Palace in Thrissur. Kanippayur Krishnan Namboodiri will take classes on temple architecture. The board decided to conduct the camps on the basis of reports submitted by the Devaswom Commissioner, S. Ayyappan Nair, and the chief engineer (general), K. Ravikumar. The cultural director, Thulasidharan Thampi, and the executive engineer, K.N. Narayanan, will be the camp directors. Merit certificates will be issued to the participants.
