Unique prayer for rain

KOCHI, MARCH 13. The Kerala Brahmana Sabha will organise `Varuna Japam', a unique prayer for rain here on Monday. As many as eight Vedic scholars led by K.V. Seshadrinatha Sasthrikal will conduct the `japam' by standing in the Poorna River for three hours on Monday morning. Brahmana Sabha officials said that the function would take place at Muthalakkadavu, Kalady.
