Career guidance seminar

KOCHI, MARCH 13. The Ernakulam Karayogam Employment Training Centre and the Rotary Club of Cochin South will jointly organise a free career guidance seminar for undergraduate and postgraduate students here on March 21. Bank customers' plea

The All India Bank Customers Association has demanded an extension of the cut-off date for fixing eligibility of the one-time settlement scheme of public sector banks. In a memorandum submitted to the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, the association has demanded that the deadline should be extended by at least one year.

MPEDA training

The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) will offer training courses in fresh water ornamental fish breeding and rearing and shrimp hatchery operation in April and May. Those interested can contact the MPEDA authorities on phone number 2361724, an official press note said here.

Camp

The Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. (Keltron) and the Mookkannur grama panchayat will jointly organise a camp to determine instruments for the disabled at the Mookkannur panchayat hall near here on Monday morning. The physically challenged people living in the panchayat can take part in the free camp.

Award for actor

The Cinema Excellency Award-2003, instituted by the Global Malayali Council, will be given to Jagathy Sreekumar, film actor, a council press release said.
