By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, MARCH 14. The crucial meeting of the Pradesh Election Committee of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee will be held at the Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday to review the applications received for Assembly elections.

With several of the aspirants rushing to the city to press their claim for the tickets, the APCC general secretary, K. Yadav Reddy, said the entry at Gandhi Bhavan would be strictly restricted to PEC members, the coordination committee members and office staff only. The APCC has appointed a 20-member committee to coordinate arrangements for the meeting.

He said that elaborate security arrangements had been made at all entry points and requested aspirants and party workers to cooperate.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Congress Manifesto Committee, G. Venkataswamy, said the manifesto would be finalised in the next two or three days and sent to the AICC for its approval.
