MADRID, MARCH 14. The two Indian nationals arrested by the Spanish authorities in connection with Thursday's terrorist attacks here, claiming 200 lives and injuring 1400 people, have been identified by the Spanish Interior Ministry as Suresh Kumar and Vinay Kohli. As the two men have been held under Anti-Terrorism Laws, no consular access is possible for the first 72 hours, and thereafter only by a court appointed lawyer. Sources in the Indian Embassy here said they were not aware whether the two men were illegally residing there or if they have any other legal identity documents. Particulars about the passport numbers, date and place of issue will be communicated to the embassy only after 48 hours. The embassy, however, is keen to extend full cooperation to the Spanish Government in finding out the identity of both involved. Two other men of Spanish nationality, but of Indian origin were detained for questioning, but not arrested. Sources say that they are from Barcelona and are possibly illegal aliens who were implicated because they had long distance telephone SIM cards. Bu they are not directly involved in the attacks.
