BANGALORE, MARCH 14. Members of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch on Sunday staged a demonstration in front of the Metro Cash and Carry outlet at Yeshwanthpur in protest against the alleged sale of beef at the outlet. The protestors came with a cow and worshipped it in front of the outlet amid chanting of hymns and beating of drums. This, they said, was to show that the cow was holy. They condemned the outlet for selling beef and demanded that this should be stopped immediately.
