Results

<150> Results of the February 2004 Hindi, Kannada examinations and Hindi typewriting examination conducted by the Mysore Hindi Prachara Parishad will be announced at 1 p.m. on Thursday here. Pracharaks may obtain their marks cards by producing their identity cards. Raveendra M.M. from Bangalore has secured the first rank in the Hindi Ratna degree examination, according to a press release.

Coins

<150> The Reserve Bank of India will distribute coins to the people in front of the State Bank of India HAL Branch and the Union Bank of India, Commercial Street branch, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday and Friday.

This will be in addition to the supply of coins over the counters. Soiled and slightly mutilated notes, particularly those of the denominations of Re. 1, Rs. 2 and Rs. 5, will be accepted in exchange for coins.

The coins will be issued in plastic pouches. Fresh currency notes of Rs. 10 will also be issued.

Vedic classes
