BANGALORE, MARCH 14. A man arrested on a charge of stealing a computer and central processing units has claimed that he did it to pay school fees of his children. S. Kumar, a security supervisor in a software firm in Koramangala, allegedly stole a laptop and 21 central processing units worth over Rs. 9.5 lakhs from the company. He allegedly sold them with the help of his friend, Suhail Pasha (26). During interrogation, he reportedly told the police that he did it to pay the school fees of his children. Kumar, a resident of Anandpura in Jeevan Bima Nagar, has two children. The police, however, doubt the veracity of his claim and are investigating. Police have arrested Kumar and Pasha. They have been remanded to judicial custody.
