This Day That Age
The need for developing tourist traffic to Kashmir from other parts of India so that the rest of the country might know more about that State, which had "politically and constitutionally thrown in her lot with India," and that there might be a feeling of oneness with India has been stressed by Mr. Shyamlal Saraf, Minister for Industries and Development, Kashmir, who is now in Madras. Mr. Saraf, who was addressing a press conference on March 15 at the Kashmir Government Art Emporium, Mount Road, said that in order to improve tourism, his Government were considering the desirability of opening branch offices in different parts of the country.
