IIM-A discusses fee cut controversy
By Our Special Correspondent
AHMEDABAD,
MARCH 15.
A meeting of the faculty of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, was held here today to discuss the fees cut controversy.
The details of the meeting were not available as the faculty members said only the director, Bakul Dholakia, was authorised to brief the media.
When mediapersons contacted his office some said he was "busy on the other line,'' some others said the director was "not in the office.'' His mobile phone was also switched off.
When some mediapersons reached his office in the evening, it was found locked.
After repeated efforts, the director's secretary said that Prof. Dholakia would not "talk to the media today.''
The placements of the outgoing students of the IIMA through campus interview were completed today.
