TMML releases first list

CHENNAI, MARCH 15. The Tamil Maanila Muslim League (TMML) has announced the first list of candidates for 17 constituencies for the Lok Sabha elections. The candidates are: Jainulabideen-North Chennai; Mohammed Ansari-Central Chennai; R. Mohammed Farooq-South Chennai; M. Vijayaraghunathan-Sriperumbudur; A. Asgharkhan-Arakkonam; K. Abdul Ajeez-Tirupattur; P.S. Rafiq Ahmed-Vellore; S. Shahinbanu-Chengalpattu; A.J. Pius Ahmed-Dharmapuri; A.K. Ashraf Ali-Salem; P.S. Mohammed Gani-Sivaganga; M. Abdul Pari-Palani; V. Khaja Moideen-Dindigul; K.V. Abdul Jabar-Periyakulam; S. Noor Mohammed-Tiruchengode; S. Karunakaran-Nagapattinam (reserved) and A. Nissar Hussain-Krishnagiri.

The list of candidates was released at the State general council meeting at Saidapet here yesterday, presided over by the president, S. Sheikh Dawood, says a press release.
