VELLORE, MARCH 15. The Republican Party of India will support the All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in all 33 constituencies it is contesting and oppose the Bharatiya Janata Party in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry in the Lok Sabha elections.

C.K. Thamizharasan, State president, told newspersons here today that the AIADMK Government had implemented several schemes for the welfare of the downtrodden including distribution of bicycles free to the girl students. Besides, Tamil Nadu had remained a haven of peace in the last three years. The RPI would decide, after the process of nominations began, whether it would field its own candidates or not in the seven constituencies to be contested by the BJP.
