UTF's plea to Government on Hindi pundits

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, MARCH 15. The Andhra Pradesh United Teachers' Federation (UTF) has asked the Government to give postings to Hindi Pundits who were selected in the DSC-2002 merit list and honour the directions of the A.P. Administrative Tribunal.

In a statement here, K. Jojaiah, president and N. Narayana, general secretary said that 900 candidates were selected in DSC-2000, but they were not recruited given the controversy over their certificates. The candidates were trained by recognised organisations of Karnataka and Orissa and had passed the examination conducted by the Hindi Prachar Sabha of Hyderabad. Since the Tribunal had given the orders, the Government should now act fast and give postings to these pundits immediately.
