Dhanalakshmi Bank's ambitious plans

HYDERABAD: Dhanalakshmi Bank has chalked out ambitious expansion plans in a conscious effort to go beyond the State of Kerala where it was established in 1927. While it had just two branches in Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad and Vijayawada) for 25 years, it has decided to take this to 20 by March 2005, according to T. R. Madhavan, Managing Director. Addressing a press conference here, he said while two more were opened in Hyderabad on Tuesday, four more would come up in Guntur, Vizag, Eluru and Kakinada in a few months, followed by nine more covering towns.
