Air India staff held for taking bribe

NEW DELHI,
MARCH 16.
A safai karamchari of Air India was alleged caught taking a bribe of Rs 100 from a passenger for filling up an emigration form at the Indira Gandhi International Airport last night.
The accused, Lal Chand, was caught by personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force at around 10-15 a.m. when he took the money from a passenger.
He was subsequently handed over to the Airport Manager Terminal II, who received his crime acceptance letter and fined him Rs 200.
Meanwhile, in other incidents at the airport, CISF personnel found a digital camera worth Rs 25,000 and a waist pouch containing a large amount of foreign currency. The digital camera was found on a trolley just outside the NITC Departure Level on March 13. It was restored to its owner, Surender Singh, a resident of Neem ka Thana in Rajasthan through announcements made over the public address system.
