Anbazhagan in hospital

CHENNAI, MARCH 16. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) general secretary, K. Anbazhagan, this morning was admitted to the Intensive Care unit (ICU) of the Apollo Hospitals, here, after he complained of giddiness.

Hospital sources said Mr.Anbazhagan had mild giddiness, high blood pressure, excessive sweating and slurred speech. However, his vital signs were normal and he was responding well to treatment.

Three specialists were attending to the case and Mr.Anbazhagan was under observation.

The DMK president, M.Karunanidhi, met him later in the day and enquired after his health, a party release said.
