JAIPUR, MARCH 17. A three-day festival of short plays will begin at Jawahar Kala Kendra here tomorrow. As many as 12 short plays selected during the recent State-level short play writing competition would be staged during the festival, with four winning plays staged every day. The Director General of Jawahar Kala Kendra, Neelima Jauhari, said here today that the duration of each short play would be 20 minutes. The festival will be inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, R.K. Nair, and prizes will be distributed to the playwrights selected in the competition. The four plays to be staged on the first day tomorrow are "Aadhi Sachchi Aadhi Jhooti'' (Half true half false), "Ajanmon Ka Nagar'' (City of the unborn), "Ravana Hod'' (Race of Ravana), and "Do Akeli'' (Two lonely women). The dramatists to be honoured for writing these plays are Dayanand Sharma, Tapan Bhatt, Abdul Salam and Kanta Sharma.
