GUNTUR, MARCH 17. Trading at the Agriculture Market Yard here was brisk this morning, with buyers picking over 1.40 lakh `tikkis' (bags of chillies) at a reduced average price of Rs. 2,500 per quintal. Trading began peacefully on Wednesday with 1.10 lakh `tikkis' backlog and 30,000 bags of new arrivals cleared after last night's agreement on hamali charges of Rs.7.50 per `tikki'. The price varied between Rs.2,300 and Rs.2,800 per quintal depending on the grade, the market yard secretary, B. Seshaiah, said.
