KOCHI, MARCH 17. Passengers travelling on the Indian Airlines network have something to cheer about this summer. To run alongside the popular smart super saver scheme, the airline has introduced a `Hot seat' scheme that will offer four free tickets to a lucky passenger every day. According to an airline press release today, the two-month scheme beginning March 19 will qualify any passenger travelling in the domestic or international sector of Indian Airlines or Alliance Air to participate in a daily lucky draw. A computerised draw will pick one seat number of any flight and the winner will be awarded four free tickets (two coupons each) every day. The result of the draw will be announced every day after 5 p.m. and will be displayed at all the airports, booking offices and on the airline's web site, www.indian-airlines.com, according to the press note. The draw for Saturdays and Sundays will be held on Mondays and the winners announced the same evening. To claim the award ticket, the winner has to submit to the Reservations Manager of the nearest Indian Airlines office the original boarding card, photocopy of the ticket jacket and an application stating his address and name(s) in which each award ticket is required to be issued and the sector for each. The award tickets would be valid for three months from the date of issue, for travel in the same class as the passenger had travelled, the release added.
